FELT, A MATERIAL TO DISCOVER
Felt has been used for decades and provides a source of comfort and well-being. It insulates against the cold, protects floors and carpets and reduces noises. The French expression ''marcher à pas feutrés'' (feutre is French for felt), which means to pad along silently, is particularly appropriate.

PROCESS AND QUALITY CONTROL
Each felt roll is carefully inspected. Samples are taken and compliance tests (on raw material consistency and components) are conducted. Using a die-punch and hydraulic press, up to four thicknesses can be cut at the time. The unique molding secret is what gives the product its stiffness, water-resistance and shape memory. Then, trained staff assemble each piece carefully and package the products. Thanks to automation, daily production is now tripled, going up to 700 pairs a day.
